The MBA programme is split into 4
semesters covering general subjects in the first year and
specialization subjects in the second year. The student
will have to opt for Dual specialization as per the
University norms.

Eligibility Criteria :
A Bachelor's Degree in any Discipline, from a recognized
University with a minimum percentage of 50% marks in
aggregate (40% for SC/ST candidates). Students should also
appear for one of the National level Management Entrance
Examination as per the AICTE norms.

lines, Audio-Visual programmes, Soft skills development
from professionals and from the industry, guest lectures,
management games, role plays, business quiz, paper
presentations, leadership skills honing and the like. The
students are also encouraged to participate in various
activities sponsored by the B-Schools.
SIMS organizes special soft skill training programme aimed
at providing strong practical orientation to the students
helping them in building and improving their skills such
as communication, English usage, business correspondence,
presentation, team building, leadership, time management,
group discussion, interview and inter-personal skills.

Industry-Academia Collaboration is very vital to the MBA
programme as it exposes the students to the corporate
world.
Every semester, the institute arranges for the
industry-academia interface through guest lectures from
the corporate sector, holding seminars and symposiums and
also through industrial visits.
PROTORIAL SYSTEM :
| To monitor the performance of each
student, Proctorial system is adopted in the
institute. Under this system, a faculty member is
proctor to a group of students and acts as their
mentor. The proctor thus continuously monitors the
performances of these students which ranges from their
academic performance, behavioral aspects, extra
curricular learning, communication skills etc. The
proctor will guide his students appropriately and
offer support under emotional circumstances, under
suitable guidance from his superiors. |
